Last year I did a post every Friday with a picture of Leah titled ” i heart fridays”. Fridays are my time at home with Leah, and I cherish them so much. It’s “us” time that I don’t get during the week or on the weekends. I’m glad I have this to look back on a see how much she’s grown! This year I haven’t been so diligent about getting out my real camera and taking pictures… but it’s only March so I’m going to change that!! Pictures are so important to me (obviously). I love that just by looking at them you’re taken back to a place and time to remember how you were feeling in that exact moment. I also think that getting PRINTS of your pictures is very important. I love that my parents made Leah a book of her “friday” posts for Christmas, and now Leah loves looking through pictures of herself too.

Today I’m excited to kick off the month with Dan + Crissy’s wedding. Today Leah also turns 16 months old…. going on 16 years old (see below, the iphone photo). Love watching her grow. I’m excited for Spring + warmer weather = lots more opportunities for photos.
Her new thing is dunking her head under water during bath time. She giggles so hard, it’s so cute. Maybe we have a future swimmer?! Although, I really think she’s secretly trying to drink the bath water (ew). Happy Friday!
I’m thinking next year I’ll offer Valentine’s Day mini sessions. But for now- here’s a little something cute for Valentine’s Day!
