Well, by now you may have noticed that my blog is filled with pictures of Priyanka & Paul’s weddings & celebrations! I had such a great time getting to know these two. Their families were absolutely wonderful as well. Priyanka & Paul live in Whistler, BC so Pri and I actually didn’t meet in person until May when she was in town. The photos below are from their “traditional” wedding ceremony on Sunday at the Lucein Manor. After getting to know these two, you can tell how crazy they are about each other. I typically don’t have the opportunity to have 4 different photo shoots with my clients…. and by Sunday- these two were pros.
Pri & Paul did not want traditional wedding photos (i love hearing this!) so instead of shooting at the Lucein (which don’t get me wrong- they have beautiful surroundings) we headed across the street to an abandoned car dealership. You’ll notice their bride & groom portraits as well as the wedding party were all shot in the parking lot. I LOVED how the blue window reflections contrasted with the girls’ red dresses. The entire bridal party were troopers- even though Sunday was a little sticky and hot. No one complained once.
Katrina joined me again as my second shooter and did a fabulous job.
Congratulations again! I enjoyed all 4 of our shoots!

On Saturday at the Lucein Manor, Pri & Paul celebrated their Anand Karaj (The Sikh Marriage). Pictured below are photos Katrina & I took of the Barat (Groom’s party/parade) and their Ceremony.
I loved hearing about the traditions as well as seeing all the details that are included!
Here’s a look at Pri & Paul’s celebration from Thursday night at the Lucein Manor. The night was filled with dinner, dancing, henna & drinking!
