I’m so excited for Jessica & Chris! They will be welcoming a baby girl in May 
Despite the weather, we grabbed some fun maternity shots around JFK Plaza ( Love Park) and the surrounding area. Here’s a look!
Thought I would post some pictures of my baby shower from last week! Most of these were taken by my 2 brothers.
We had planned for a fall themed shower in early October (you know– fall weather, mums, hay…etc) and instead had a bright, sunny 85+ degree day! It felt like summer! However, rain could have been worse. We decided to do a co-ed shower. Since we had done major renovations on the house the past couple of months– it would be nice for everyone to see Shawn’s progress (maybe I’ll get to that post soon!).
If you follow me on Pinterest, I’ve been keeping a Baby Shower Board with ideas I’ve wanted to do. One of them was onsie decorating. I thought it would steer clear of the typical “baby shower” games.. but that this would still be a fun activity. I ended up having so many cute onsies made for baby! Everyone was so creative.
I also did a “guess baby’s birthdate” board. We’ll see who guessed right in the next couple of days! I’m really hoping that the 11-19 date isn’t accurate We have a lot of family birthdays around this time of year– so it will be interesting to find out when she makes her debut.
(The great pumpkin is what my dad wrote.. her due date is also his birthday!)

Although I don’t really get the whole month thing (being that pregnancy technically isn’t 9 months I’ve learned?), weeks make much more sense= 33 weeks!
Totally holding my breath— just to fit into this non-maternity dress. Thank goodness for stretchy clothes.
Crazy to believe… only 74 days left until our due date (but who’s counting…)
Shawn just got home a few minutes ago and I shoved the camera in his hands. I haven’t taken a photo of myself in awhile, which is something I don’t want to regret later on!
Here I am… 29 weeks pregnant! (7 months… 3rd trimester)
Amy & Sean experienced a few traveling dilemmas getting to Batsto, but luckily we were still able to take advantage of the beautiful weather for their maternity shoot on Sunday. I haven’t done too many maternity sessions, but being a first-time mommy-t0-be I definitely looked at it differently!
When Shawn & I first found out we were pregnant I started a journal on my computer. Or… more like a “letters to baby”.
I’ve been typing updates/ letters to our little girl every so many weeks so I will remember the journey
I thought I would share one from week twenty, my half way mark. (I haven’t decided yet if I’ll blog them). It’s a little depressing to look at a photo from 3 years ago in the same outfit! However, I guess I have an excuse since I’m pregnant???!
