Ever since Evalis & Dave’s e-session a few weeks ago, I’ve been craving some really GOOD ice cream. So Shawn & I visited Franklin Fountain… and it was really good = )
Shawn and I had a spare minute the other weekend- so we ran to the beach one morning (not literally).
We didn’t have time to stay very long… just to touch the sand and come home. Which made me happy enough.
It was two of the best hours I’ve had this summer.
I seriously have gray hair. After painting for 2 days straight, my hair is slightly tinted now with colors of white, teal zeal, and instant delight (yellow) paint. I’m not the worlds best painter (luckily I have Shawn who is), but being in a room by myself for the majority of 2 days I think I got the hang of it. (Minus the paint that ended up in my hair).
What happened recently with the house? Few words will sum it up… office, teal, & ikea. I know Ikea can be a gamble.. but I have to say I’m pretty much in love with my new desk. Here’s a shot of it below from today. We are still waiting for Shawn’s section, which will go directly to the left of mine. The rest of the room is barely put together, but at least I now have somewhere to sit in the house. (And somewhere I can actually take my shoes off without worrying about stepping on a nail) I’ve waited many weeks for this room to be done….
Hopefully soon we will have artwork put on the walls, and things in place. But for now, here’s a preview of what it looks like now (first two pictures) and what it looked like when we purchased the house (bottom two pictures).
And yes, the inside of my closets (both) are bright yellow. I like surprises!
