Kate + Mike’s Trash The Dress Session at Smithville Park, NJ
I’m so in love with these photos! Kate + Mike opted to do a trash the dress shoot… 4 years after saying “I Do”. There are several versions of the “trash the dress” idea– but we stayed clean + classy. It’s a fun way wear your dress/wedding attire and capture some fun photos. They were one of my first weddings when I started in 2008 + I’m so thankful for them having taken a chance on me! We headed to Smitville Park last week @ Sunset to capture these. They make one gorgeous couple!

Can I just say how awesome these two are?
For several reasons…
1. For waking up EARLY the morning after they got hitched! (Like 9 am early…)
2. For getting down and dirty. These two were totally ready to roll around in the sand and get in the ocean.
3. For totally knowing how to work it infront of the camera. I rarely had to give these two directions= naturals!
Sunday morning Brandi, Chuck and I (and their entourage!) hit some spots around Atlantic City for their Trash the Dress. Here’s a peak at how awesome they are:

A little behind the scene action!

Here’s a collection of photos from Jon & Courtney’s session on the beach this weekend in Cape May. You may remember them from their wedding back in May! Courtney’s mom made her dress- so we didn’t get too crazy, but we did have a great time on the beach! Luckily we had no rain from the hurricane- but we did end up with a little wind. Here’s a look at the newlyweds!

Here are the “trash the dress” pictures from Lindsey & Todd at LBI on Sunday! Lindsey emailed me a few weeks ago and asked me to do a shoot (they were married back in May).
I LOVE the concept of TTD and when you have a fun & energentic couple like L&T, it turns out to be a lot of fun! Kudos to both of them who weren’t afraid to get dirty, sandy and wet at the beach. I took SO many pictures that here are only a handful… Hopefully I can post another post (maybe next week?) I had a TON of fun – best of luck to you two!
I’ve had a lot of questions about the concept of “trash the dress”. I found a good article on the dailynews.com: Here it is!
